a true friend's birthday:)

June 19th was the birthday of one of my best friends: Dehrae Hill.  Saturday we got together for a little cookout and family fun to celebrate.  It rained on us, but we didn't let it stop our good times!  God even sent us a rainbow:)  most of us pitched in to get her a little surprise gift---a Barnes & Noble nook!  If you know Dehrae, you know she LOOOOVVVVEEEESSS to read.  As a matter of fact, I learned on saturday that dehrae once had perfect vision and the eye doctor told her she reads too much, that's why she needs contacts now! hahaha.  Also, another fun piece of information is that when she would get punished when she was little, her parents would take away her library card---only to have her bribe kids with her icecream money to check out books for her! haha:) anyway, this post is in honor this dear and loyal h.a.h. (only dehrae would know that), and golden girl, Dehrae Hope Hill.  Enjoy the pics!

Camping @ Jocassee

2 generations of bohanans and 2 generations of the pitts family united this past weekend at lake jocassee to have some camping fun!  Me, Shawn, Kenzie & Justin, Shannon and Larry bohanan and Patty and Jimmy pitts all met up and enjoyed us a clear lake, beautiful skies, some storms, and a caterpillar sting. yeah, you'll see photos of him.  here's some of the select pics...

Showering Love for Baby Eden!

We're so excited as we wait on the birth of our 2nd god child and 1st niece, Eden Daye Lyles!  here are a few of the photos from the wonderful baby shower that all of the lindley sisters and family gave Anna & David.

move to auburn

hey Everyone!

   As most of you know, shawn and I will be moving to Auburn, Al in about a month and 1/2.  praise the lord, we've found a place to stay- a cozy little duplex with 2 bed 2 bath and even a small fenced in patio for jericho to stay in! Yay!  the only thing that we need now is a nice, sturdy job for me!  This Friday, Auburn University will be reviewing applications for a position for an administrative assistant in their international studies program.  I would really love to get this job for many reasons!  if you would, please join us in praying for my application to stand out and for the Lord to show favor in providing me with this position.  thanks so much!  Again, they are reviewing the applications this friday.  I appreciate all of the prayers and support.

Today I had my first photo shoot with people who weren't part of my family.  (Well, biological family, anyway...)  Thanks Elena and Chris for giving a newbie the chance to photo your journey together!  I had so much fun with you guys and hope that you enjoy all of the images and more importantly, the memories!

Elena Taylor & Chris YouSSI met when they were 5 years old.  chris fell head over heels for Elena at 5 and never recovered!  it's so great to see God's Sovereign hand working and orchestrating some of the most beautiful relationships i have ever seen.
